I’m suspicious of English Golden Ales in the extreme, since they never really existed as far as I am concerned, and they are (I suspect) no more than dumbed down ales for the lager crowd. Anyway. Attractive golden pour with a fading head with a touch of lace - not much. Nose and states are mild biscuit malts and a touch of bitterness in the background.
