Whitewater IPA

One of the three beers in the ‘Hop Tour’ mixed, six pack along with Noble Pils and Latitude 48.

Pour is a pretty attractive yellowy, orange with some chill haze. Head is a nice two finger affair and the lace is impressive.

Some decent sinus clearing citrus in the nose.

The tastes begin to reflect the nose, with some nice, mixed citrus notes leading the way. the back end has a bit more sharp, bitterness, and the beer begins to bite a little in the finish. The beer feels full and I’d even go as far as to say quite rich and creamy.

Some drying notes cut across the aftertaste, too. On the whole though, sharp and clean and offers a nice, simple profile that is well-defined.

I like this a lot more than the Latitude 48, but it’s not what I would call a classic. BBC makes better beers than this.
