Corked & Caged, nice presentation. Promising, and then …
… ‘Belgian style’ Tripel? As opposed to what? I supposed that’s supposed to tell us that it’s not actually Belgian. OK
Errr … why does a Tripel, trigger a ‘Hopped Up’ badge on @untappd? Dumb.
A lot of misplaced bitterness in this “Tripel”. Not surprised that they got it wrong. Bitterness replaces the sweet, white pepper and fruity notes that should be in a Tripel. It’s a miss, and incredibly disappointing.
It ends up being closer to a Belgian IPA than any legitimate Tripel. Opportunity missed.

Lacks the viscosity and sweetness necessary for a genuine member of the style. It’s a little dark, too. Belgian yeast character fades & hops build down the bottle, in this increasingly disappointing beer. Nose is average but still the best part of the beer.
Oh how good this could have been. Sadness.
