Collab with Boulevard. The usual Ommegang presentation, in a style I am likely to enjoy.

Medium pop on opening. Lightly hazed, orange color with a decent white head.

Initially not that spicy, but it does build a little.

Carbonation is medium to high – a touch prickly.

Light white pepper in the nose, less in the tastes.

Oddly, this starts to turn quite creamy. The beer begins to give a dry fruitiness and a light bitterness. It’s more sophisticated than i first thought.

The fruity alcohol starts to come through with some lovely dry character but a paradoxical fruit notes. The beer gets creamier and creamier down the glass.

Very tasty.
