22 oz usual presentation.
Not sure if this is a single hopped beer, but it stands up well as does fine on its own.
All the Simcoe notes are these with a light, piney resin and some serious bitterness in the right places.
Mid to dark amber pour, the beer works well in terms of appearance. Some sticky lace even if the head did not sustain itself well over the course of the pint.
8.6% and the beer drinks surprisingly under that.
Pretty solid IPA, that I like better than many of the previous years version, but really that’s all down to the hop.
