12 oz.
Slightly chill-hazed, mid-golden pour. Nicely formed head, retention and lace about average. Nice looking beer.
Orange peel bitterness rather than harsh pepper in the nose and the tastes, with a bit more rye bitterness in the back-end and aftertaste.
For a rye beer, relatively clean and fresh from start to finish, and for me any rye that is present takes a back-seat and doesn’t particularly manifest itself either in the color or the tastes. Good!
I liked this a lot more than expected. Decent.
