Last 12 oz bottle from a 4-pack. 8th annual (apparently).
The beer is a surprising color – it’s good, but surprising. A really bright, clear, copper hue greets the eyes. Very attractive.
High white head, and decent sticky lace and thin film retention.
The advertised mango, apricot and ginger leads one to expect that this IPA would be a fruit bomb. Again surprisingly, it really isn’t. If anything, the advertised ginger makes the beer slightly bitter without imparting much ginger flavor – odd!. More fruit comes in as it warms, but one would NEVER describe it as ‘fruity’ per se, in fact, the overwhelming, lingering feeling is an onion based, Summit hop feel.
Finishes much drier than a beer with this advertised fruit should ever do.
