Simple, sweet bread in the nose.

Tastes are PERFECT. The balance of highly, highly gulpable and drinkable malts against the gentle kiss of that hop bitter finish, give an absolutely classic English biscuit balance to the beer. Quintessentially Enfglish if not necessarily quinessential ESB (to me it feels mole Pale Ale than ESB), this is insanelt drinkable and beautifully blanced. Zero flaws, perhaps the closet beer to perfection in terms of taste that I’ve had in an age. Standard, light mouthfeel with light carbonation.

No, this isn’t on cask, in an English pub, but my God this is MAGNIFICENT still.
