I really enjoyed this.

It has a superb mineral-like body that imparts a light touch on the palate. Gentle, but consistent carbonation that comes with that carbonated, mineral water feel, and a very light acidity. Nothing too harsh here, all in check and approachable.

Pour is a lovely golden color with plenty of nice carbonation and head. Retention is good.

I get acidic grape and some stinging lemon around the edges. The lemon evolves into lovely, tart grapefruit notes – really reminiscent of great, graprefruit juice for breakfast in a nice hotel. White grape cuts in too.

A lovely, highly drinkable example of the style with better body than some other Gueuze. Easy entrance to the style but with plenty of authenticity. A nice balance for me.
