Peanut butter and jelly porter. Side Project 25.

Not a fan of such silliness in beer, but it’s certainly a pretty beer. Black as night and a decent tan head.

Super clean raspberry note on the nose. Really clean.

This is true for the tastes. HonestLy I get almost zero peanut butter or peanuts. Some alcohol shines through with the sharp, clean fruitless of the beer. It’s almost like a raspberry liquor or the sweet raspberry taste that one might get in the filling of a chocolate. Cocoa nibs are in there apparently, but no real feel for them either, and the beer is described as ‘fruit-centric’ on the label. I would agree.

Even as it warms, very little peanut butter for me. Much more like a fruit based porter than anything peanuts.

22 oz bottle. Interesting and better than I thought, mlainly because the peanut butter does not come through.
