Nice pour, good head, some retention.
A little thin and slightly prickly carbonation in the mouth leave me wanting more.
I was expecting something more like a hoppy saison ( perhaps my own fault) but got more of a spiked wild ale. Honestly, that’s OK since that is what it is supposed to be. Not too critical.
TONS of cider notes here, plenty of manure and horse blanket, so also solid in that regard. Nose especially farmyard as opposed to farmhouse. Plenty of Brett but perhaps even a little too much, fighting with the hoppy base?
Grows on me as we go through. Nice beer.
2015 Vintage.
