Nice pop, good gun smoke.
For the record, I’ve never seen a single second of Game of Thrones, and frankly have no interest. Back to beer.
Very vivid golden color with initially a bubbly, wispy head. The head fades but still leaves lots of thin lace on the head and a decent collar.
Nothing special here. Solid, but nothing special. Some light yeasty notes, high carbonation and a decent alcohol pop that seems to exceed the 6.5 %. Quite dry (good), and there is a touch of spice. Grains of paradise perhaps, lemon peel, mmmmm, well a touch of citrus, and a plenty of noble hop elements.
Surprised this wasn’t more expensive, glad it wasn’t. It was just about the right value.
It’s interesting that they decided to pair a very ordinary (but good) beer, with the hype surrounding this show.
