Surprisingly hazy, almost gloopy pour. Annoying, VERY difficult to remove, thick, yellow wax.
Label damaged, but this looks like it HA NZ hops and might be #3 in some series. I know that Terrpin originally did this a 6% but what else is missing?
White broken head. Some lace. Decent retention.
I don’t like the appearance, it’s a butterscotch thick affair. A few lemony notes in the notes – not much.
Very light hop notes, simple malts, easy drinking. A feel of a yeasty build up. Quite what a Farmhouse Pale Ale s I’m not sure. Is there Belgian yeast in this? Yes!
Mild touch of funkiness but it’s really yeast.
All in all a little too mild for me in terms of depth of taste. Average, not much fun. Meh.
5.5% ABV, 750 mL.
