Pour is a butterscotch colored body with a nice, substantial white head. Decent retention and lace.
Nose has a lot of banana and pineapple for me. Quite surprising. very topical that I was not expecting.
Lively beer, good carbonation.
Solid bitterness throughout the beer. The back-end is surprisingly fruity, that I first thought was a hop bitterness, then some kind of grapefruit note, and then finally a cross between some kind of tropical fruit and some pithy citrus. There is a distinct lack of Fantôme herbal funk here, and this is one of those Fantôme beers that accentuates the bitter over the herbal.
Not disappointed, but equally not my favorite Fantôme
Definitely a lingering, bitter aftertaste.
