GREAT! A simple beer that does what it says on the label – imagine that!

A nice, deep colored brown ale with some reddish highlights. A really nice white head that has some easy-going lace and some creamy retention. Nose has a lovely dose of significant malt, with enough hop nose to give it the ‘American’ part of “American Brown” moniker. Exactly the same with the tastes; solid, rich malty backbone and some light bitterness in the hop character.

Nice nuttiness in the aroma that cuts a little across the palate, too.

Mouthfeel is excellent with super depth, the beer feels REALLY substantial and all comes in at 5%!

Authentic with its American Brown label (slightly over-hopped), the beer still maintains a really great, loud mouthfeel – it feels substantial.
