A hazy, light golden color with a fluffy, white, wispy head. It fades quickly but there is some lace. Carbonation is solid.
Nose offers plenty of light, sweet, floral esters. Very, very light floral esters on the palate to start with, with a touch of extra bitterness in the mid palate and the back end where it grows slightly.
This is a very light colored Bière de Garde if that matters, and I would certainly look at it thinking it was a Saison instead, but I don’t think thst’s especially relevant to anything other than an observation.
The fuit yeast is the dominant factor here, along with the residual light bitterness and a lovely, full, creamy mouthfeel.
Lovely beer with large drinkability, and something that I would highly recommend as an aperitif or some summer (not “light” per se), drinking.
