Lips of Faith Coconut Curry Hefeweizen

I am curious. Who the hell thought that this would be a good idea? Looks like it might have been home brewer Remi Bonnart who seems to have come up with this tragic beer.

LOVE me a good curry. Less keen on coconut and can take or levee a Hefeweizen, so on the faced of it, I’m all over the map before I begin with this. Within seconds, I know exactly where I stand. It’s disgusting.

Looks like a hefeweizen with a cloudy, butterscotch pour but with weak head and lace.

Nose is mainly a sweet coconut. Not really my cup of tea but at the same time, not horrible. Unfortunately, the tastes ARE horrible.

A bizarre, mild heat, followed by sweet, sweet coconut and then a banana finish to complete the ‘vomit’ in a glass’ experience. This is how I used to feel on A Sunday boring, after a heavy night’s drinking in High Wycombe with my old mucker, Fat Mac. It has the light burn quality of the classic, ‘I threw up a little’ in my mouth.

Nasty.

What a DUMB idea. Hefeweizen or Herbed Spiced Beer?
