Westbrook Brewing 5th Anniversary, Raspberry Imperial Stout

Simple concept here.

Imperial Stout with Raspberries, Vanilla and Cocoa Nibs. The two latter elements are a well-trodden path, the former is something that interests me, as do Westbrook beers in general.

Viscous, alcohol laden and a tinge of redness about the beer, it essentially does what it says on the can. Nice fruit element form the raspberries that add a tart, almost sweet & sour note to the beer.

All very well done – as Westbrook does – and that’s that.
