This is an extremely soft and gentle beer no matter how one slices it. The mouthfeel is incredibly soft, with lightest of touches on the carbonation, and it has a pillow-like mouthfeel. Quite astonishing
A hazy orange body with a bit of a disappointing head if I am honest. The head is fluffy, very light and bubbly, and gone almost instantaneously. The beer is hard to describe as it puts out a light mandarin flavor with other gentle esters all over the place. Small malts and citrus notes abound. I don’t detect a specific fig note, but the unique nature of this beer has to be because of them. Maybe there are contributing to the absolutely incredible mouthfeel too.
There’s a sweet note that runs throughout this almost taking into “fruit beer” territory rather than Saison, and there’s some light acidity. Very fruity with a gentle sweetness.
This is a hard beer to describe. It doesn’t feel especially Saison-like in any way TBH, and lacks any farmyard characteristics, but at the same time it does feel ‘rustic’. I like it, a lot, but it’s difficult to describe. Easiest solution, just go get one.
