Nice amber pour, but mine was with very little head and virtually no lacing. A very hoppy initial taste and aroma cut back some as the beer was drunk. Hops still prevail with some sweet malt. I enjoyed this purely from the point of view of having taste! So many brews in the US lack that basic requirement it’s nice to come across tasty beers. I like the stout bottle, label and the name – all point to a decent, full flavored brew. The beer itself is unfiltered so invevitibly has cloudy appearance and like most tastier beers, I feel it benefits from not being cooled to Arctic temperatures.
Definitely worth a re-visit.
